Now, we are looking for a QA Automation Tester to join our team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our digital platforms.

About the role

As a QA Automation Tester at Enklare, you will play a key role in validating business-critical workflows, functional requirements, and system behavior across our digital products. This is a hands-on role where you will work with both manual and automated testing, helping us identify issues early and continuously improve the quality of our systems.

You will build and maintain automated test coverage, execute manual test cases, validate APIs, and verify backend data integrity. The role also requires close collaboration with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Execute manual test cases to validate functionality, usability, security, and performance.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Cypress and JavaScript.

• Perform API testing using Postman, including building collections, writing assertions, and validating responses.

• Develop, review, and maintain detailed test cases, scenarios, and QA documentation.

• Log, track, and manage defects in Jira, ensuring clear visibility and timely resolution.

• Validate backend data using SQL to ensure accuracy and integrity.

• Support regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.

• Troubleshoot issues in test scripts, environments, and data workflows.

• Continuously improve testing frameworks, tools, and processes to increase coverage and efficiency.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure testing aligns with business requirements and compliance standards.

• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing in Confluence.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.

Who you are

We are looking for a structured and detail-oriented team player who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You take ownership of quality, think analytically, and have a strong interest in how systems behave in real-world business scenarios.

You likely have:

• Strong hands-on experience with Cypress and JavaScript for test automation.

• Solid experience in API testing using Postman and JavaScript-based assertions.

• Good understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and the SDLC/STLC.

• Experience working in Agile development environments.

• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence for defect tracking and documentation.

• Ability to execute thorough manual testing and create clear, detailed test documentation.

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into delivery workflows.

• Working knowledge of SQL for backend validation.

Nice to have

• Experience testing complex financial workflows, transaction-based systems, or loan platforms.

• Familiarity with cross-browser and cross-platform testing tools such as BrowserStack.

• Knowledge of mobile automation testing using Appium.
